Manchester United recorded their 15th Premier League clean sheet of the season during their 1-0 win over Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Taking a first-half lead through Bruno Fernandes, United were forced to withstand some pressure during the second half, certainly in the latter stages of the contest, as Villa looked to maintain their record of scoring in every game since Unai Emery took charge for the first time back in November.
But as much as Villa tried to turn the screw in pursuit of an equaliser, they were unsuccessful in their efforts, meaning an impressive record came to an end.
Nevertheless, Villa could not be too disheartened by the fact they failed to find a way past David de Gea and a stubborn United rearguard; the Reds have conceded just eight times in the Premier League on their own patch all season.
