LOI: Shelbourne return to top of the table with win over Dundalk

Shelbourne have returned to the top of the League of Ireland with a 1-0 win away to Dundalk. A goal after four minutes from Aiden O'Brien was the difference between the sides, as Damien Duff's side regained their position at the top.

Dundalk remain bottom of the table after defeat, one point behind Drogheda United. They took full advantage as Derry City suffered a 1-0 win away to Galway United, who boosted their hopes of European football with victory.

A goal from Patrick Hickey in the 76th minute gave Galway the win at Eamon Deacy Park, who are now seven points behind Derry in third.
