The Egyptian forward signed a new contract to keep him at Anfield for another three years this summer, and former Reds striker Stan Collymore says he now wants to see Salah take on a senior role within Jurgen Klopp's squad.
That would mean helping younger players to improve and grow – and Collymore thinks Salah could even help develop his eventual replacement.
It comes as Trent Alexandre-Arnold has sent a goodbye message to his "best mate" at Liverpool after the club's youngest ever goalscorer Ben Woodburn departed.
