Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann confessed he's not downbeat to share a group with Scotland but believes no duds occupy Group A at Euro 2024.

The world footballing powerhouses have been in a slumber in recent years but hope remains high they can do a 2006 and come alive like they did under Jurgen Klinsmann on home soil as they reached the semi finals of the World Cup.

And their campaign will kick off against Steve Clarke's side on the opening night in Munich on June 14. They will then face Hungary and Switzerland in their final two group games.

Nagelsmann believes there's a real chance after avoiding Group B which houses Spain, Italy and Croatia. Speaking after the draw, the 36-year-old admitted: "This is not a group of death, but there are no really bad opponents.
