Toni Kroos 'seriously considering' Germany retirement U-turn as Euro 2024 hosts pull out all the stops for Scotland

Germany are pulling out the big guns for Scotland, with hero Toni Kroos considering coming out of retirement for EURO 2024. The tournament hosts will open the whole damn show against Steve Clarke's warriors in June next year after we sealed our place in the finals following a stunning campaign that saw victories against Spain and Norway.

Clarke's men take on the Germans, Hungary and Switzerland in Group A with strong ambitions of qualifying for the knockout stage.

And while the hosts have lost their last two international games, they sent out an SOS for World Cup winner and Madrid star Kroos to return to represent his country.

The 33-year-old, according to BILD via reporter Christian Falk, is now 'seriously considering' the call to pull the Germany shirt back on.
