Spieth was on the par 3 third hole when his approach to the green fell well short. Spieth wasn’t happy with his swing and took it out on himself. Six weeks after letting a two-shot lead get away on the final day of the Masters, Koepka fended off challenges from Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler to win his third PGA title at sun-splashed Oak Hill. Koepka fired a 3-under 67 in the final round to finish at 9 under for the tournament, two clear of Hovland and a late-charging Scheffler.
Brooks Koepka hit a second straight 66 at Oak Hill to lead the US PGA Championship going into the final day. The 33-year-old is a two-time US PGA winner — in 2018 and 2019 — and has won four majors in total. Ad As a result of his impressive round, Koepka will have a one-shot lead going into the final round.
