Brendan Rodgers could be dealt another injury blow in the wake of their Dortmund drubbing with Alistair Johnston facing a spell on the sidelines.
The right-back played in Celtic's Champions League mauling in Germany to Borussia Dortmund where they crashed to a 7-1 humbling defeat but came off before the end to be replaced by Anthony Ralston.
But he has now been left out of Canada's latest international squad with boss Jesse Marsch insists it's because he is 'rehabbing' a back injury.
Johnston has been withdrawn from the Canada squad for their friendly later this month against Panama - putting his place in the side for Sunday's clash Scottish Premiership clash with Ross County in doubt.
