Inter striker Edin Dezko says his side will come up against “the best team in the world” when they meet former club Manchester City in the Champions League final.
The attacker’s legacy at the Etihad is defined by his headed goal in the unforgettable final day comeback in 2012 to help City lift their maiden Premier League title, and it’s evident the Bosnian still has a lot of affection for the Blues. “Being in the final of the Champions League against my club, City, it’s a big thing for me,” he told BT Sport. “I’m looking forward to it because I will have a lot of fans in the stadium on both sides so I cannot wish for more.” Dzeko has scored four goals in Inter’s run to the Champions League final, including in the first semi-final leg against Milan.
