How to get tickets to Eurovision, how much they cost and when they might go on sale

With the UK set to host next year's Eurovision song contest, many Brits will be rushing to get their hands on some of tickets.

Seven of Britain's biggest cities have been competing to host the 67th contest - Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, and Sheffield.

And today, that list is expected to be slimmed down even further. Speaking on BBC Breakfast on Tuesday morning, presenter Sally Nugent teased an upcoming update from the BBC.

She told viewers: "Later on today we are expecting an update from the BBC” - but she did not provide any further information on what might be announced.
