Warren O’Hora admits his crash course in Scottish football has been an eye-opener. But the Hibs ace has warned the Easter Road men will need to look sharp when they square up with Celtic again this Sunday.
The former MK Dons centre-half was in at the deep end against the champs at the weekend as Brendan Rodgers’ side in a first half that left the Leith outfit in a blur.
O’Hora hopes the improved second-half display is something to hang on to as Hibs get set to do it again in the Premier Sports Cup at Parkhead.
The 25-year-old said: “Has it been an eye-opener? Definitely. The speed, the physicality is definitely different and something that we have to get up to, and me personally, I have to get up to. “That’s why I’ve come to this club and that’s why I’ve come to this league, because I want to play the best in this league, I want to play the best in this country, and I want this club to be up there with teams like that and that’s what we’re excelling to be. “Yeah, look, it’s an eye opener, but I felt like we did well enough in the second half to maybe nick a goal and maybe nick something out the game.
