Hannibal Mejbri explains why he left Manchester United to join Sevilla on loan

Hannibal Mejbri was sold on the 'Sevilla project' and his Manchester United teammates advised him to make the switch because of the atmosphere their fans create.

Hannibal, 20, has agreed to join Sevilla on loan for the remainder of the season and the Spaniards have the option to sign him permanently for £17million.

United have inserted a buy-back clause should Sevilla eventually sign Hannibal permanently. There has also been a suggestion that aspect of the deal was added late in negotiations but it's understood INEOS did not intervene in talks, contrary to a report.

Hannibal started consecutive games for United in September, but opportunities were limited after that and the youngster turned down a call-up to the Africa Cup of Nations to address his future.
