Dylan Tait grabbed his first goal of the season with Hamilton’s winner against Montrose, and says they’ve got off to the perfect start in League One– but that’s all it is so far.
On-loan Hibs midfielder Tait struck four minutes into the clash against the Gable Endies at New Douglas Park, heading Jamie Barjonas’ cross in from close range, and hopes it’s the first of many.
Tait reckons Accies are gong to need goals from all areas of the pitch if they are to be successful this season, but reckons they’ve done that well so far, with four wins without conceding a goal.
The 21-year-old said: “I was happy with it, it was a good team goal, a good ball in from Barjo and I finished it well, so I was really happy with it. “It was good to get my first goal, and hopefully it’s the first of many, because I nearly scored a second goal as well, so hopefully there’s more to come. “It felt really good.
