Graham Potter has said he is ready to return to football management as Erik ten Hag's Manchester United future remains uncertain.

The Englishman was brutally sacked as Chelsea manager after seven months in charge. Potter was lured from Brighton & Hove Albion following an impressive stint at the AMEX Stadium, becoming Todd Boehly's first managerial appointment.

A whopping £323million was spent in the January transfer window, but Potter was on the managerial chopping block after 12 wins and 11 defeats in 31 games in the dugout.

United face a decision after Tottenham Hotspur handed them a third Premier League defeat of the season - leaving them in 12th and six points off the Champions League places after six matches.
