Former Manchester United transfer target Jurrien Timber was spotted walking down Wembley Way in the build-up to Saturday's FA Cup final against Manchester City.

The Ajax defender, who will celebrate his 22nd birthday later this month, was United manager Erik ten Hag's top target to strengthen the club's defensive options for a period last summer.

The latter worked with Timber at Ajax and was keen to be reunited with him at Old Trafford. United wanted to strengthen their centre-back options from the very start of last summer's transfer window and were linked with a whole host of targets.
