Gary Neville disagrees with Manchester United coach over team's performance

Gary Neville has claimed that a member of Manchester United's coaching team was disappointed with the team's performance in Sunday's Carabao Cup final win over Newcastle.

The former Reds defender said he spoke to the unnamed staff member after the final whistle at Wembley, with United having won 2-0 thanks to goals from Casemiro and Marcus Rashford.

Erik ten Hag's side - who secured their first trophy since 2017 with the win over the Magpies - were solid in defence and restricted Eddie Howe's men to very few clear-cut chances.

Neville, who was on co-commentary for the game, was impressed with how the Reds managed the final, but he says not everyone involved with United was completely satisfied.
