Manchester Airport has confirmed more than 20 retail, bar and restaurant units will open in the new Terminal 2 next year when the £1.3billion transformation project is complete.
It includes luxury brands such as Chanel, along with high street favourites LEGO, Boots and WH Smith. Luxury brand Chanel will open its first standalone airport make-up and skincare boutique, while JD Wetherspoon will open its first pub inside Manchester Airport.
Among the retailers will be family-favourite LEGO, along with Pandora and Rituals. A major feature of the new Terminal 2, which is set to open in Summer 2025 when the second and final phase of the programme is complete, will be the Great Northern Market, a a 472-seat food hall bringing the best of Manchester’s street food scene to the airport, featuring six international street food kitchens and a unit by Manchester-based dessert brand Gooey. The offers will rotate regularly in line with food market trends and customer demand. The food and drink line-up also includes a Greggs, Joe And The Juice and a Fever-Tree cocktail and champagne bar.
