Hamilton Accies have signed highly-regarded striker Jean-Pierre Tiehi on a season-long loan deal from English Premier League side Fulham.
The Paris-born hit man has trained with the club ahead of today's Championship match and could make his debut at Firhill. Tiehi, 20, who is the son of Ivorian star Joel Tiehi, came through the youth set-up at Le Havre and Fulham, but has yet to play for their first team.
He told Hamilton Accies' website: "It has been a very quick process, but I have spoke to the head coach and the chairman, and I'm really excited to be here. "I will work hard and always give my all for this team and the club. "The lads have welcomed me with open arms.
I have trained with the squad, which felt great, and I can't wait to get started." Head coach John Rankin said: "I am very pleased to have Jean-Pierre with us. "It's a move that has happened quickly and everyone on all sides has been working hard to get this deal over the line. "He has a physical presence up front, and I think that he adds something to the strikers we have currently. "He comes in fit and ready to go, and we saw that in training yesterday."
