Nottingham Forest have been dealt a hefty fine of £75,000 by the FA for their team's intense reaction towards referee Paul Tierney after a close loss to Liverpool earlier this month.
To add salt to wounds, assistant coach Steven Reid has also been slapped with a two-game touchline ban and further fined £5,000 for using unsavoury language towards the official three times as the Forest crew vented their frustrations after the match.
The anger revolved around Darwin Nunez's last-minute goal being allowed because of an error made by Tierney only a minute earlier.
He incorrectly gave Liverpool a free drop ball following a break for a head injury. Despite Reid - who worked as a coach with Scotland under Steve Clarke - rejecting claims he behaved wrongly, the levels of reaction from Forest were ruled to be a breach of Rule E20 by a three-person independent committee.
