Former Manchester United forward Dwight Yorke has claimed he will be ready to take a managerial job like the vacant position at Tottenham Hotspur in just a couple of years.
The 51-year-old was previously linked with the Aberdeen job after Jim Goodwin was sacked in January, but the Scottish club ultimately chose to go with Barry Robson until the end of the season.
Yorke, meanwhile, still has aspirations of managing in the Premier League in the coming years. Yorke has so far managed only Australian side Macarthur FC since retiring from his playing career - winning 10 of his 18 matches in charge.
Having left that post in January, the former Reds man is now targeting a top-flight job in England.
