Manchester United have been urged to repeat their Robin van Persie transfer trick by snapping-up England captain Harry Kane this summer - but only on a two-year contract.
Having allowed Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Old Trafford mid-season, United want Kane as his successor with the market set to reopen soon.
Kane has 15 months left to run on his current agreement with Tottenham and German heavyweights Bayern Munich are also thought to be keen on his signature.
Kane is the number one target, but United also hold an interest in Napoli sensation Victor Osimhen after his stunning campaign with the Italian champions elect.
