Former Manchester United star Quinton Fortune has detailed just how impressed he is with the club's decision to sign Christian Eriksen this summer.

United, who will be looking to maintain their winning start to pre-season when they face Crystal Palace in Melbourne on Tuesday, officially announced the arrival of the Denmark international on Friday.

He has put pen to paper on a three-year deal at Old Trafford after turning down a new offer at Brentford. Eriksen joined the Bees on a short-term deal back in January after leaving Inter Milan.

He made a telling impression during his short stint in west London, scoring one goal and grabbing four assists in just 11 Premier League appearances, helping Thomas Frank's side comfortably avoid relegation.
