Ally McCoist admits he hates his defeatist attitude towards Sunday’s clash against Celtic at Parkhead but reckons Rangers are as big an underdog in an Old Firm derby as he can EVER remember.

The Light Blues strike legend is fearful ahead of the Scottish Premiership showdown in the east end of Glasgow with a contrast in where the two fierce rivals are.

Brendan Rodgers’ side can go five points clear with a victory and McCoist is a worried man. He told Squawka: “I actually think it’s absolutely vital that Rangers find a way not to get beat at the weekend.

And the fact I’m saying that, it probably does sound negative and defeatist, and I hate myself for saying it, but it’s the way I see it right now.
