Everton have explored the possibility of signing Harry Maguire on loan for the season, according to reports. The Toffees are keen to strengthen defensively, with Conor Coady's loan not being made permanent and Yerry Mina also leaving upon the expiration of his contract.

After initially valuing the 30-year-old at £50million, it is believed they would accept a bid of around £30m.
