Erik ten Hag has confirmed Manchester United's target for the season is to win another trophy. Ten Hag won the Carabao Cup during his first year in charge and delivered the FA Cup last season, despite finishing eighth in the Premier League and recording a minus goal difference.
The victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup final saved Ten Hag's job. He faced enormous pressure at the end of 2023/24 due to disappointing results in the league and United sounded out other managers over their availability in the build-up to the final.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe backed Ten Hag to remain in charge after winning a trophy for the second successive season and the Dutchman has identified another piece of silverware as his target for this term.
