Manchester United face another massive summer in their quest to return to the top step of English football's podium next season.

Following a failed 2021/22 campaign, United, guided by manager Erik ten Hag, have started to correct some of those recent failings this season, offering encouragement that the good times are returning to Old Trafford.

The Reds have already scooped one trophy and could end the season with another one after reaching the FA Cup final. To take the club to the next level next term, Ten Hag plans to strengthen a handful of areas within his first-team squad this forthcoming summer, with the addition of a new striker right at the very top of his wish list.

The former Ajax boss is also understood to be keen on recruiting a new right-back and a central-midfielder.
