Erik ten Hag comments explain why he wants to sign Harry Kane for Manchester United

Erik ten Hag has reiterated his desire to sign a striker this summer and detailed the profile of the player he wants to add to his Manchester United side.

The Manchester Evening News revealed last month that Harry Kane is Ten Hag's preferred addition to the squad at the end of the season.

Sources say the United manager is intent on signing Tottenham's talisman as he approaches the final year of his contract, but there is an acceptance that it will be difficult to convince Daniel Levy to sell to a domestic rival.
