Emeruwa congratulates Gusau, offers roadmap, strategic plans for development to new NFF boss

Alhaji Ibrahim GusauConfederation of African Football’s (CAF) Head, Safety and Security, Dr. Christian Emeruwa, has congratulated the new Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, on his election as the new boss of the country’s football.Emeruwa, who contested for the NFF presidency and lost to Gusau in the general elections held in Benin, at the weekend, said in a letter to the Zamfara State FA chairman that he would continue to support the growth of the country’s game.“It gives me great pleasure to present to you warm compliments of my humble self and my team.

Following the outcome of the election, I have no doubts that you would lead Nigerian football into yet another glorious days ahead,” Emeruwa said.As part of his contributions to the continued growth of the game, Emeruwa offered his ideas to the new NFF president.

He said: “In furtherance to my desire to continue to see to the growth and development of Nigerian football, I wish to forward herewith my roadmap and strategic plans, two documents which I have prepared and which I believe if you look into can help contribute to the growth and development of football in Nigeria.”Follow Us
