East Kilbride Thistle boss Garry O’Hanlon was left baffled and frustrated by the amount of stoppage time played in their draw with Ardrossan – after the visitors grabbed a last-gasp equaliser.
The Jags seemed to be cruising at 2-0 up thanks to a debut goal from Jamie Longworth and a David Sinclair strike in the West of Scotland Third Division clash.
However, Ardrossan pulled one back early in the second half before levelling in the seventh minute of added on time in controversial circumstances.
O’Hanlon said: “We were up 2-0 at half-time with two good goals and we had chances to kill the game, but it came back to bite us. “The referee has added seven or eight minutes on when we were told it would be three minutes, so I don’t know where the time has come from. “A few things didn’t go for us.
