Arsenal and England star Declan Rice has lauded Manchester City attacker Jack Grealish. The 29-year-old has had a rollercoaster period since signing for Pep Guardiola in 2021, as he found it hard to replicate the form that he showed at Aston Villa which earned him the lucrative move to the North West.
His struggles meant that he was a shock omission from Gareth Southgate's European Championships squad for last summer's tournament in Germany.
England were ultimately beaten finalists after Spain ran out 2-1 winners in Berlin, thus ending Southgate's tenure in the Three Lions hotseat.
Under-21s head coach Lee Carsley stepped up to take temporary charge and immediately recalled Grealish to the squad as the City forward continues to repay his faith.
