Manchester City enjoyed a perfect return to form on Tuesday night as they brushed Slovan Bratislava aside on the second matchday in the Champions League.
After a disappointing draw at Newcastle, Pep Guardiola's side put their Slovakian opponents to the sword and in truth should have won by more.
Ilkay Gundogan and Phil Foden, who made his first start for the Blues this season, scored in the opening quarter of an hour to put the game beyond doubt.
However, City were frustrated until the 58th minute when Erling Haaland rounded goalkeeper Dominik Takac to make it 3-0. The scoring was completed with just over 15 minutes to go as Foden chipped the ball through for James McAtee to score his first-ever Champions League goal.
