David Moyes addresses Harry Maguire to West Ham links after Manchester United captaincy decision

West Ham United manager David Moyes has been asked about the speculation linking his side with a move for former Manchester United captain Harry Maguire.

Maguire, who announced that he had been stripped of the United captaincy on Sunday, has been heavily linked with a summer move to the Hammers over the last few weeks.

Reports in the national media have claimed that the Londoners are 'exploring' the prospect of signing him in this window, either on loan or on a permanent basis.

The England defender, who took to social media to confirm that Erik ten Hag had taken the captain's armband away from him, fell down the pecking order at Old Trafford last term, making just 31 appearances in all competitions.
