Manchester United's players felt that Sunday's draw with Newcastle was a missed opportunity to pick up another three points, according to David de Gea.

The draw means Erik ten Hag's side have now slipped three points behind Chelsea who remain in the final Champions League spot.

De Gea, who was making his 500th United appearance, admitted after the game that the result was disappointing, though he was pleased with a clean sheet.
