Crystal Palace ‘might be yet another club’ interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, according to journalist Dean Jones. The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent days following the arrival of Casemiro, with south London touted as a potential destination.
90min have reported that the Red Devils have been ‘inundated with interest’ in McTominay since it became clear they were set to sign Casemiro from Real Madrid in a £70 million deal.
It’s claimed that the Scotland international is most likely to leave on loan should he depart the red half of Manchester, although manager Erik ten Hag is yet to make him available for transfer.
With Ten Hag targeting further midfield reinforcements before September’s deadline and Fred already enjoyed a productive partnership with compatriot Casemiro, it’s McTominay who is most likely to suffer at United.
