Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante will likely be a target of Paris Saint-Germain in future transfer windows with the 31-year-old already being contacted by the Ligue 1 giants, according to journalist Simon Phillips. Kante has been a central figure to Chelsea’s success over the past six years but could find himself moving on to a new club.
The 53-cap France international recently rejected Chelsea’s offer of a two-year deal with the option of a 12-month extension, according to The Athletic, with his current agreement set to expire next summer.
The report states that Kante wants a three-year guarantee at Stamford Bridge to go with the optional year, terms proposed during the final days of Roman Abramovich’s reign.
However, former manager Thomas Tuchel has previously said that Kante’s injury record will affect the length of the deal he is offered.
