Chelsea boss Graham Potter has had his say on Mason Mount’s future amid speculation linking him with Manchester United. The 24-year-old is approaching the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge with no resolution on the horizon.

The standoff has prompted transfer talk given Chelsea could cash in on the midfielder this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer.

Manchester United have been mentioned as a possible interested party in recent days with Erik ten Hag keen to strengthen his midfield in the summer.

Whether a move for Mount materialises remains to be seen, while Chelsea boss Potter said the England international was happy in the capital.
