Chelsea: Boehly now wants 'world-class' £103m star at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are more likely to sign Jude Bellingham than Moises Caicedo to solve their midfield issues, according to journalist Paul Brown. The Blues may be forced to make major changes to their engine room under new manager Graham Potter and several interesting players have been linked with them as a result.

At present, Chelsea have the likes of Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Conor Gallagher, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Denis Zakaria to call upon in the middle of the park.

However, both Jorginho and Kante are in the twilight of their careers and have entered the final year of their current contracts, while Gallagher is yet to prove himself at this level and Zakaria is only on a season-long loan deal.

Addressing that area of the pitch may take priority for Potter next summer, therefore, and the young tactician has been tipped to raid his former club Brighton for Caicedo.
