Chelsea would listen to a good offer for Kai Havertz, according to journalist Simon Phillips. Bayern Munich are thought to have the German attacker on their radar, and Phillips thinks the west London club would consider a bid from them if one came in.
Phillips recently reported that Chelsea expect Bayern to make a serious approach for Havertz next summer. The 23-year-old was a key player for former Blues manager Thomas Tuchel, playing 74 games under him before his dismissal at the start of September.
It remains to be seen how important he becomes for Graham Potter, though he did start in the Englishman’s first game in the Stamford Bridge dugout, suggesting that he has a role to play under his new boss.
Whatever the case, it appears that Havertz is attracting interest from Bayern, who he has been linked to before. If Havertz does not show any improvement this season, Phillips thinks Chelsea would listen to Bayern’s offer should it arrive.
