Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic will be ‘embracing’ the arrival of new manager Graham Potter more than most, according to journalist Dean Jones. The 23-year-old struggled for regular game time under previous boss Thomas Tuchel and could see his departure as an opportunity to have a fresh start at Stamford Bridge.
Pulisic was reportedly one of several Chelsea attackers eager to seek pastures new over the summer after becoming frustrated with their role within the squad.
However, after Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner and Callum Hudson-Odoi were allowed to move on, the USA international was not granted his wish and stayed put.
That was despite The Athletic’s Andy Mitten revealing Manchester United were interested in snapping Pulisic up on loan as they looked to bolster their options on the flanks.
