In-demand Matt O’Riley is reportedly "willing to wait" for a move to Atalanta with clubs across Europe chasing the Celtic midfielder.
The Italian side have been desperate to bring the Danish international to Serie A this summer but saw their latest offer of more than £15million booted out by the Scottish Premiership champions - with the likes of Southampton ramping up their interest while Atletico Madrid are said to still be in the picture.
Italian outlet Tutto Mercato claim that Celtic have told the Europa League winners they won't budge from their €27m (£23million) price tag at this stage of the window.
It is stated that Atalanta will attempt to "carry out a strategy to lower Celtic’s price" but as it stands the situation "is at a standstill" with Russell Martin's side "keen" on a deal.
