Sixteen-year-old Mia Brookes became the youngest world champion in snowboarding history with stunning slopestyle gold in Bakuriani, Georgia.

The British star landed the first-ever CAB 1440 double grab in women’s competition in a superb second and final run. Ad Brookes, in her first season on the senior international circuit, scored 91.38 to beat Olympic champion Zoi Sadowski-Synnott to gold.
