Brendan Rodgers insists his appetite for success at Celtic is stronger than when he first arrived at the club. The Hoops boss is also determined to lap up every moment of his second spell at Parkhead and believes he's a better manager now than when he delivered two successive trebles.

As a new campaign is set to commence with a flag day against Ross County on Saturday, the Irishman is convinced his time at Leicester City, where he was sacked last season, will serve him well for the challenges ahead.

Rodgers lifted all the domestic silverware on offer during his previous two and half years in Glasgow before heading down south and his greed for more glory days is greater than ever.

He said: "I've come back with more experience, more games under my belt but equally, more hunger. There is probably a greater appreciation, that's for sure.
