BREAKING: Long delays on M62 and M60 following crash with lanes shut - latest updates

Drivers are facing long delays on two motorways this morning following a crash near Salford. Two lanes have been closed on the M62 westbound between junctions 12 at the Eccles Interchange and 11 at Birchwood.

Congestion is tailing back to junction 15 of the M60 on the anticlockwise carriageway. A spokesperson for National Highways North West tweeted: "Lanes 1 and 2 are closed on the #M62 westbound between J12 (M602) and J11 (#Risley) due to a collision. "Recovery for the vehicles involved is now on the scene.
