Saat ini Carlo Ancelotti masih menjadi pelatih Real Madrid. Tapi fakta itu tak menyurutkan niat timnas Brasil mendekatinya untuk jadi pelatih Selecao.

Hal itu ditegaskan oleh Presiden Konfederasi Sepakbola Brasil (CBF) Ednaldo Rodrigues. Sosok yang menjadi orang nomor satu di CBF sejak 23 Maret 2022 itu bahkan sudah punya rencana untuk melakukan pendekatan ke Ancelotti. "Ia (Carlo Ancelotti) masih tetap menjadi Rencana A dan dalam lawatan timnas ke Eropa, kami bisa mendapatkan gambaran lebih jelas," kata Rodrigues dalam konperensi pers di Rio de Janeiro hari Selasa (6/6), seperti dilansir Sky Sports.

Momen itu, terutama ketika tim Samba main di Spanyol, diduga kuat akan dipergunakan Rodrigues untuk melakukan pendekatan langsung terhadap Presiden Real Madrid Florentino Perez terkait niat memboyong Carlo Ancelotti. Timnas Brasil sendiri saat ini masih ditangani oleh Ramon Menezes sebagai pelatih interim.
