Bojan Miovski’s old boss reckons the Aberdeen new boy is good enough to play in the Premier League. Giovanni Costantino coached North Macedonia star Miovski and fellow Pittodrie summer signing Ylber Ramadani at MTK Budapest last season.

The Dons decided to go big with a £535,000 bid for 23-year-old striker Miovski, who joined Jim Goodwin ’s squad at their training base in Spain this week.

Costantino believes it will be money well spent and they will more than recoup that – because he has all the tools to go to the top in England.

He said: “Bojan has great potential and he can go on. "I believe that after a few years at Aberdeen he has the potential to even go to the Premier League.
