A commentator has urged caution surrounding Girona new boy Bojan Miovski and reckons its "unfair" on the former Aberdeen goal hero to compare him with departed Artem Dovbyk.

The North Macedonia international sealed a £6.8m move to the La Liga upstarts and is expected to fill the boots of the man who joined Roma for £32m after he netted 24 goals to help Girona reach the Champions League for the first time in their history.

Miovski entered the action in the 58th minute of their 3-0 defeat at the hands of Atletico Madrid. But his bow came with a warning over what fan expectation should be.

The play-by-play man for La Liga's international feed, stated: "Abel Ruiz departs, enter the North Macedonian international Bojan Miovski, signed from Aberdeen.
