Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski is set to ramp up his return from injury and take part in pre-season at Pittodrie. The North Macedonia striker missed the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying defeats to Ukraine and England after he was stretchered off in the Dons last home game of the Scottish Premiership campaign against St Mirren following a heavy challenge from Thierry Small left him with ankle ligament damage.
Barry Robson's side face a packed start to the campaign having secured European football last term with the first leg of their Europa League playoff clash scheduled for August 24 – just days after the league campaign in Scotland kicks off again on the weekend of August 6.
Concerns had been growing among the Aberdeen support that the frontman could miss a chunk of the pre-season preparations with the injury - with the 23-year-old coming off a campaign that saw him rack up 18 goals.
However, he looks set to join the rest of the squad next month. Macedonian journalist Filip Mishov offered the Granite City support a positive update as he mapped out the forward's return timeline.
