Former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster has said that he "guarantees" Cristiano Ronaldo is not the problem in the club's dressing room.

Ronaldo's future at United has been the topic on everyone's lips this summer after reports emerged that the player wanted a move away from the club to play Champions League football.

Despite scoring 18 goals for the Reds last season, the 37-year-old could not help his side avoid their lowest points tally in Premier League history as they finished sixth.

United endured a torrid start to life under Erik ten Hag as they were beaten by both Brighton and Brentford 2-1 and 4-0 respectively but fans hope the tide will now turn after a brilliant 2-1 win over Liverpool, where Ronaldo came off the bench late in the second-half.
