Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabene has admitted that he feels 'sad' to see Cristiano Ronaldo in a situation that is 'not pleasant for him or his team', with the Portuguese international remaining at Old Trafford despite expressing his desire to leave the club.
Ronaldo's future at Manchester United was widely speculated all summer after the Real Madrid legend told the club that he wanted to leave in search of Champions League football.
The Portuguese striker was linked with a number of clubs throughout the transfer window, with his agent Jorge Mendes having reportedly negotiated with Napoli over a potential move back to Italy.
