The One Show isn't known for its cooking segments but the show underwent a bit of a change this week as the presenting line-up was treated to various foodie delights from celebrity chefs and bakers - including cake from Mary Berry.

But during Thursday night's edition of the BBC One chat show (September 1), Alex Jones and Ronan Keating appeared in The One Show's very own kitchen with Jamie Oliver.

The famous chef was cooking on the show to promote his new book 'One' which is said to be full of 'simple one-pan wonders'. Jamie’s One-Pan Wonders is also airing on Channel 4 as his latest cooking show sees him whip up dishes from his new book.

As he joined Alex and Ronan live on the show, Jamie decided to cook up a sausage and minestrone soup with the hosts following along next to him.
