Rangers are reportedly keen on Arsenal defender Auston Trusty as Michael Beale looks to rebuild his squad for next season. The Light Blues boss admitted after the Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Celtic last weekend that a revamp of his squad will be needed over the summer if he is to close the gap to Ange Postecoglou's side at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Following yesterday's 1-0 win against Aberdeen at Ibrox, Beale was asked how many players he would need in the transfer window, however he would not be lured into giving a number.
According to reports in the Daily Mail, Trusty is high on Beale's list as he attempts to bolster his defence in the close season.
The USA international, 24, signed for Arsenal last year from Colorado Rapids but was sent straight back on loan. This campaign he has spent time on loan at English Championship side Birmingham City where he has been a regular.
